Nose: This Glenfiddich has matured for over thirty years in a refill European oak cask. This has resulted in a whisky with a rich and complex aroma with oaky-fruitiness, hints of sherbet orange and subtle tannin and leather notes.
Taste: The rich aroma delivers an equally rewarding taste with a beautifully silky mouth-coating texture. Initially nutty with hints of sherry oak. Gradually developing a dried fruit sweetness - raisins, apricots and dates.
Finish: Lingering sweetness and exceptionally smooth.
