Harcourt Valley 'Sightings' Shiraz 2013

At the end of World War II American armed forces released their mascots into the Australian bush. Each year there are hundreds of sightings of large black cats across central Victoria. Fruit for this impressive wine is grown in the Harcourt Vineyard where a documented sighting occurred in January 2008.

Purple-edged, deep and brooding. The result of an excellent vintage and considered winemaking, plums, mulberries and vibrant blue fruits. Layered with subtle musk, spice and clean vanillin oak, it will improve over the short to medium term.
