"Matured in a gentle refill butt, this powerful Speysider exudes aromas of dried barley, warm hay and short bred. After some time in the glass, a dry Oloroso sherry note joins in with an emerging smokiness. The palate is full-bodied and powerful with aromas of juicy barley candy, dried fruit and citrus. The long finish is accompanied by waves of wood spice, charcoal and more barley. This is a superb dram with more texture than a Van Gogh oil painting!"
