Tenimenti d'Alessandro's Cortona Syrah DOC is a fresh and harmonious red, very drinkable, an everyday wine with an aging potential of at least 5/6 years. It is exclusively produced from pure Syrah grapes, and is an intense and bright red. The nose gives off fruity notes of blackberries and undergrowth, which then give way to balsamic and licorice hints. On the palate it denotes softness, balance and a long finish. It lends itself well as an accompaniment to cold cuts and hard cheeses: a typical Tuscan platter.
