Fabre Montmayou Reserva Malbec 2018

Vistalba Malbec tends to be round and plush in style, and that's the case here, but this is not a heavy wine. Notes of pepper spice, clove and violet are intertwined with the succulent dark berry fruit and toasty, yet refined oak. Deep red-purple red. Intense aromas are reminiscent of fresh plums and spices, typical of the varietal. Its palate is frank and expressive, with hints of ripe and pleasant smoked fruits from its passage through oak barrels. It is a juicy wine, with incipient tannins and a balanced finish, typical of old vines.
