Marantiqua Pinot Noir 2024

The new Peñaflor winery in San Patricio del Chañar, Neuquén, Argentina launched its wines in 2024, including this Pinot Noir. Without aging in barrels, it is a fruity wine of good body and intensity. Marantiqua Pinot Noir showcases an emblematic characteristic of the wines from this region of Argentina - notably, a deeper color intensity than that found in other Pinot Noirs from around the globe. There are aromas of cherries, blackberries and plums, with balsamic and earthy details. On the palate there is a taste of red fruit with herbal nuances. It is juicy and fluid. Simple but likeable.
