Writers' Tears Red Head
A lovely fruity release from the Walsh distillery in south east Ireland, tripled-distilled Writers Tears Red Head was named for its inviting shade of amber, the result of maturing in hand-selected Spanish Sherry barrels. It pours in that vibrant deep amber colour and has intriguing aromas and flavours of orange, dried apricot, red plum and oak spice. Notes of vanilla, raisin and balsamic lead to a lengthy finish.
Bottled without chill filtering at 46% ABV.
